Buying Support Logisticks Specialist with French
In order to set up a new internal service to support truck spot operations of the different AM sites in Europe, ArcelorMittal Business Center of Excellence is looking for candidates for a position of Purchasing Agent with French
You will be responsible for providing a transport solution for all the transport requests received:
- Reception of the transport requests from AM North plants
- Preparing and launching RFQ for spot purchases
- Monitoring suppliers' responses, analyse and selection of the awarded carrier(s)
- Communicate results to different stakeholders
- Booking all the mandatory information in the system of the AM North plants (slot reservation, name of the company, name of the driver, truck registration plate...)
- Ensure a good communication of the health and safety procedures in place in the site of loading
- Declaration of the transport order in AML systems for invoicing purposes
- Ensure follow up of the loading operations and deliveries if needed
- Daily communication with transport and logistics teams, carriers and EPO
- Daily reporting of the operations. Measurement of the impact
Our expectations:
- University degree required
- Previous experience in purchasing/logistics would be an asset
- Strong organization skills
- Experience with IT systems
- General MS Office knowledge
- Very good knowledge of English and French - Knowledge of Dutch - would be an asset
- High energy and enthusiasm
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and work in a team
