Weare looking for Senior Cobol Engineers to join our fast-growing team.
Yourrole is to ensure service continuity, to guarantee application(s) quality andto maintain the application(s).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Resolve incidents, analyze problems, and implement small request for change byfollowing the development phases (coding, unit test) in consistency with theassets
- Provide quality users assistance
- Answer to different service requests (reporting, recurrent tasks)
- Meet the objectives related to its application (availability time, incidentstime resolution)
- Ensure the necessary data transfer between applications
- Update documents after each change
- Propose and implement actions to simplify applications, optimize processes andautomate tasks
- Follow and enforce norms and standards, security rules
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of technical profile faculty
- Experience in COBOL programming (minimum 4 years)
- Experience with Mainframe, JCL, DB2
- Experience in application support
- Synthesis Capacity
- Customer Orientation
- Initiative Capacity
- Mandatory English and French skills.
