For our Finance Department, we are currently looking for a COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST WITH FRENCH AND ENGLISH

As a Collections Specialist will be responsible for monitoring of customer accounts, contacting customers via phone or email regarding overdue invoices and keeping records of performed activities in the dedicated software. Additionally, this role will be also responsible for Customer Master Data and Credit Management. In this role, you will be based in Katowice.

Responsibilities:
  • Review the company's accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts.
  • Collect and analyze data for a selected debt history
  • Undertake all collection activities via collection software in accordance with the collection policy
  • Collect from Customers: contact debtors via phone and email and attempt to collect the overdue amount. Escalate unpaid amounts
  • Perform activities related to credit management process
  • Maintain customer master data
  • Keep records of collection activities
  • Report on collection operations, create and send statements
  • Actively improve the current collections process

We are looking for you to have:
  • Bachelor/Master degree (Business/Finance preferred)
  • Experience in finance area, within BPO/SSC (especially in accounts receivable position)
  • Basic accounting proficiency
  • Customer focus (external and internal customers)
  • Fluency in English and French is mandatory (minimum C1)
  • Very good communication skills
  • Good MS Excel skills
  • Good level of problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Experience in transition process will be an asset
