Job Description:Content Editor - French CanadianWeston-Super-Mare (Onsite)Likewize Support provide knowledge solutions and technical support for a range of world class brands, from banks & cell phone networks to retailers. Our Digital Delivery (DD) function creates and enables the communications for those support tools underpinned by continuous insight.

This role requires a Content Editor, fluent in French Canadian to join our in-house content team. They will translate and proofread various elements of content support for our knowledge base.
In addition, the Content Editor will write articles, input to step-by-step diagnostic content as well as 'how to' guides as required.
The role requires the editor to have an excellent command of English as well as French Canadian. The ability to answer a complex question in a simple and easy-to-understand manner is key, as is a good understanding of our editing tools and software (training will be provided).
Excellent attention to detail is required as the Content Editor will need to ensure the accuracy of our translations in addition to maintaining consistency through adherence to tonality and formality.
Working closely with other teams they will support in testing and maintaining the overall user experience of the content.
Key Responsibilities - Translate and proofread new and existing content for the Likewize Support knowledge base
- Test and proofread content in various formats (scripts, text in imagery etc) prior to go live
- Support the creation of new content in accordance with:
- New product releases
- Client requests and feedback
- Operating System (OS) & platform updates
- Call drivers & other insight sources
- Review existing articles, scripts and content on a regular basis
- Support new client launches - ensuring the accuracy and consistency of translations across the required formats
- Work with the User Experience (UX) team to ensure quality is maintained across content types and language variants
- Respecting the value of information by following Likewize's data protection / information security policies and procedures
Strategic requirements- Help to maintain our standards in content creation and delivery
- Champion translations and be the 'go to' knowledge point within the team
Skills/Experience- Proficient spoken French Canadian & a good grasp of spelling and grammar in this language.
- Clear writing style expressed in English and French Canadian
- Ability to explain complex processes clearly and without ambiguity
- Content proofreading experience
