Copywriter (French Speaking)


The copywriter is responsible for all written content for Foot Locker EMEA. This can include topics like e-commerce, retail windows, newsletters, blogs, digital marketing and FLX. This person is responsible for the planning, creation, and execution of the copy according to the content strategy. The copywriter works closely with various teams from buying, Project management, Traffic, graphic design, brand marketing, and digital marketing to ensure that the content is aligned with product strategies, marketing campaigns, marketing activities, social media, and vendor strategies. Additionally, the person will support with translating and localizing written content for the French market.


  • Responsible for all copy-related content on the various sites and channels:
  • CRM, digital marketing, FLX, SoMe, ECOM, Retail
  • All required content is accurate, in line with the brand tone of voice and copy guidelines, and available in the needed languages.
  • Working closely with the traffic coordinator and Project manager to ensure alignment
  • Work closely with digital & brand marketing teams for strategy and communication alignment on campaigns and other marketing activities.
  • Support with translating and localizing of French content


  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Background in online retail highly desirable
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the eCommerce business and the impact of content on conversion.
  • Affinity, enthusiasm, and interest in sneakers & fashion
  • Fluent level of English, both verbal and written.
  • Fluent level of French
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by managing and prioritizing a high workload volume, ensuring that critical milestone dates are met.
  • Ability to work under pressure, tight deadlines, and with initiative.
  • Plus: Experience supporting translations, transcreation and editing.
