Customer Engineer, Security and Sovereignty (English, French)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in a technical sales engineering role in security or cloud native environments.
  • Experience with product and solution market trends in the cybersecurity industry (e.g., ransomware, attack frameworks, zero trust, etc.).
  • Experience with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT Technology space.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Certification in the Cloud or Security industry.
  • Experience implementing security solutions for enterprises (e.g., threat detection and hunting, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, or identity and access management systems).
  • Experience with disaster Recovery (DR) and data backup strategies.
  • Ability to communicate in Luxembourgish fluently.
  • Excellent problem-solving, written/verbal communication, and presentation skills.

  • Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
  • Support the technical relationship with Google customers, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, coordination and prioritization of solutions impacting customer adoption of Google Cloud.
  • Work with customers to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud Sovereignty Solutions in customer/partner environments.
  • Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure to implement a complete solution using best practices on Google Cloud.
  • Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed.
