Job Description

The Digital Designer will be an integral part of a team dedicated to harnessing the growth potential of the digital channel, recognizing its significance within the company's strategic roadmap. We are seeking a motivated designer to curate and deliver engaging digital content across diverse online platforms, tailored specifically for the different European markets. As a Digital Designer, your role will encompass content uploading and scheduling content on ecommerce sites within our group, crafting newsletters, contributing to significant digital projects for our brands, and maintaining and enhancing the ecommerce platforms. A passion for learning, a drive for excellence, and a curious mindset are essential traits for the successful candidate. A meticulous eye for detail complemented by a creative flair is a pivotal requirement.

The responsibility
  • Creating user-centered designs that align with targeted KPIs
  • Working with eCommerce platforms and content management systems for the individual markets
  • Basic digital design principles, including HTML, CSS, and web standards.
  • Familiarity with mobile design and optimizing for diverse devices.
  • Implementing an insight-driven design approach, reliant on validation of key decisions
  • Driving performance-oriented design by consistently making incremental improvements to ensure the website and emails resonate with emerging UI and Ecommerce trends.
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Executing creative concepts using relevant design tools and workflows
  • Sharing a strong grasp of typography design concepts and digital design best practices
  • Portfolio showcasing clean and professional web/mobile/digital designs tailored for the individual European markets.


Qualifications

The person
  • A collaborative designer with a proven track record of leveraging initiative to achieve impactful results.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital design, particularly in user interaction design
  • Effective communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • A motivated and enthusiastic self-starter with exceptional time management skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop. Familiarity with Figma is advantageous.
  • Organized and resourceful, adept at multitasking within the fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and confidence in presenting novel design concepts.
  • Proactive in showcasing ways to consistently enhance the customer experience.
  • Adaptive in employing various user testing strategies and analysing results.
  • Prior experience within the French eCommerce and creative sectors is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written French and English is required, and proficiency in any other European languages would be a distinct advantage.
