French Speaking Accounts Payable Accountant - Budapest (Hungary) - Your future position?

Overall mission:

The purpose of this position is to ensure all vendor invoices are paid on time and related Accounts Payable (AP) tasks are maintained. Improve responsible AP processes. You will be based in Budapest and report to the Accounts Payable Teamleader.

You will:

  • Process and park Raw Material, Indirect Materials and Services, freight, contract and non-PO vendor invoices
  • Follow-up on parked items, resolve payment issues
  • Perform reconciliations - General Ledger, vendor account
  • Perform invoice/credit memo corrections
  • Monitor and resolve open items and decrease debit balance
  • Answer external (supplier) and internal (local business) queries
  • Organize / Participate in internal and external query resolution calls
  • Follow and apply all relevant internal audit and business compliance guidelines, controls and policies
  • Analyze root-causes of re-occurring errors
  • Run standard and ad-hoc reports
  • Identify areas of process improvement
  • Make AP Team Lead / AP Manager aware of issues/deviations
  • Perform any other tasks defined by the line manager or above


You:

  • Diploma: degree preferably in Finance/Economics
  • Languages: good command of French and English in writing and verbally
  • Professional experience: 1+ years relevant experience
  • Experience working with SAP
