MFL (French) Teacher

Job Description

At Hayle Academy we are seeking a teacher of French to join our successful foreign languages department from ideally Easter 2026 or September 2026. The successful applicant will deliver French across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, and will play a key role in promoting cultural capital and linguistic immersion. We are looking for someone who can bring the French language and Francophone cultures to life in the classroom, fostering curiosity, confidence, and global awareness in our students. We are proud to embed Conti methodology in our MFL teaching and curriculum, supporting students to develop fluency through high-frequency language, engaging content, and spontaneous use of the target language. There is also the potential scope to offer another language through our Broad Horizons programme. You will be a motivated and positive team player, determined to ensure all students succeed regardless of barriers. You will win hearts and minds, and inspire, enthuse and motivate staff and students alike.
