P2P Senior Accountant with French

  • Being member of the respective transition team to relocate accounting activities to Bucharest
  • Perform assigned accounts payables activities in a timely and accurate manner
  • Respond to vendor queries
  • Responsible for creating/updating standard process manuals/other work documentation when required
  • Reviewing journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy
  • Training and mentoring junior staff
  • Performing various analyses and preparing account reconciliations
  • Assisting with financial and tax audits
  • Documenting and monitoring internal controls in support of auditing team
  • Participating in more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service quality
  • Performs other duties as assigned by direct superiors and managers
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience in working with ERP, preferably SAP FI module
  • Degree in the field of accounting, finance and economics is a plus
  • Good accounting understanding
  • Previous working experience preferably in large/global organizations
  • Good technical knowledge of MS office
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good attention to details
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering quality results to tight deadlines
  • Willing to collaborate within a team in order to achieve common goals
  • Ability to understand multicultural environments
  • Previous experience with transitioning project(s) is considered an advantage
  • Self-motivation, quick learning and creative thinking
  • Very good English language skills, advanced French language level (min B2)
