Project Manager with French Advanced - Innovation / Project / Organization - Bucuresti, Romania

We are seeking to hire a skilled Project Manager who will be responsible for managing projects for BU/SU which are large (in terms of challenges, budget, team, etc.) or complex (multiple entities and/or numerous contributors and/or complex functionalities) and/or supervise several projects in parallel.

Be accountable for results as defined in the individual Project Plan(s) validated by the sponsor(s), particularly:
  • Preparing business case(s);
  • Validating the organization of project(s);
  • Define and obtain validation by the sponsor of the governance of project(s);
  • Act as a Project Manager for projects coordinated directly or supervised;

Specifically, you will be required to:
  • Preparing governance meetings and cross-functional committees of the program (mainly Stratcos, Steercos, and Opcos) and participating in report writing committees;
  • Organize and facilitate workshops and meetings required for the development of work;
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to ensure the deliverables are concluded within the stipulated timelines through proper execution, governance and monitoring;
  • Participate in designing the communication plan and coordinate producing deliverables, especially quarterly communications intended for all program contributors;
  • Facilitate the operation of the program through the implementation of tools and collaborative working methods, such as SharePoint and MS Teams;
  • Manage the roadmap in the Pyramid. Take ownership of the roadmap (design, modify, and update) along with the Stream Managers and Chapter Heads;
  • Provide support to Stream Managers and Chapter Heads in carrying out their streams/Chapters' specific missions;
  • Monitor and consolidate the progress of deliverables in conjunction with stream managers;
  • Proactively highlight risks and possible alert points related to deadlines, quality of deliverables and budget;
  • Analyze policy and regulatory documentation and point out differences across jurisdictions;
  • Assist other streams on a needs-based basis when work volumes allow it;
  • Ensure there is necessary backup for each stream and cross-training of PMs on multiple streams for resilience.


Profile required

  • Previous experience in Project Management (+ 3 years);
  • Strategic and project management skills;
  • Advanced level fo French and English;
  • Well versed with knowledge of Project Management tools and techniques;
  • Ability to handle complex projects independently;
  • Ability to drive discussions/workshops with senior management;
  • Analytical and presentation skills;
  • Demonstrate Accountability, Change Management, Decision Making and Persuasion skills;
  • Successfully manage the relationship with the partners/client and all stakeholders.
