OverviewThe Sales Associate is responsible for creating and delivering active sales opportunities to Account Managers that are closable in 6-8 months.
Candidates for this role must be based in the UK and be fluent in English and either French (preferred) or German.
What you will be doing- Participate in discovery calls with Account Managers to qualified lead prospects to gather information, educate on basic product offerings and determine viability of a sale
- Maintain purposeful, regular contact with identified prospects to add value and drive sale forward; regular contact includes emails, phone calls and other relevant activities
- Generate new qualified lead prospects by developing a target list of customers and executing calling and email campaigns
- Participate in tradeshow events; make contact with potential customers at trade show booth and ensure proper lead follow up after the show
- Regularly and accurately update all internal systems on all activities
- Introduce Account Manager to potential customer when moved from lead to genuine sales opportunity; transition all important customer information to Account Manager
- Review and evaluate Requests for Proposals; assist prospects with drafting appropriate documentation
- Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy
What will make you successful- Fluent in English and either French (preferred) or German
- Bachelor's Degree
- Inside sales experience
- Microsoft Windows and Office proficient
- Solid business acumen
- Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
- Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Speak or write with ease, clarity and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience
- Able to thoroughly investigate situations or issues to get relevant information; adept at asking probing questions to successfully obtain quality information
- Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others
- Sharp, fast learner with a curiosity for technology as well as aptitude
- Up to 5% travel required
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
