Job Purpose
This position is responsible for driving growth of Revvity’s market-leading Reagents business and associated commercial objectives remotely – managing their own territory across Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. Working proactively within the region and closely linked with a high performing collaborative team across a matrixed organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Takes ownership of sales and drives growth in a defined territory within the region, expanding the customer base and wallet share, finding sales leads, and closing sales.Proactively contacts existing or potential customers directly by phone or email to evaluate, qualify leads, generating and closing opportunities.Enhances distributor productivity through engagement and support activitiesFields questions and understand customer needs in relation to their choice of our top-of-class and innovative offering of Reagents to support researchers on their journey at the DNA, RNA, and protein level with the broadest range of functional genomic tools - including industry leading gene modulation and gene editing solutions to help elucidate complex biological networks for functional genomic studies.Partners with Marketing, Product Management and other Sales teams within the matrixed organisation to initiate and coordinate marketing campaigns and other lead generation activitiesRecords customer interactions into Horizon’s CRM system & ensures accuracy of customer dataRoutes non-sales & post-sales related inquires to relevant teams, for example Technical SupportUndertakes relevant project work and additional responsibilities as appropriate and agreed uponQualification, knowledge and key skills
Minimum Bachelor’s degree or higher in a life sciences related subject, such as molecular biology. MSc or PhD preferablePrevious sales experience and proven success in Life Sciences field essentialExcellent communication skills both written and verbalFluent Dutch and French speaking essential.Enthusiasm and a willingness to proactively engage with customersKnowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce would be an advantage, but not requiredOccasional travel may be required.
