In our Manufacturing plant in Asti, dedicated to our Water&Heat residential meter, you join a matrixed and international organization. You are in charge of managing all manufacturing engineering and lean activities.

Reporting directly to the site Operations Manager, you are an essential part of his first line of command.

You are responsible for all manufacturing processes onsite (introduction of new product or improvement of existing processes)

Very exposed, you collaborate with all departments of the factory, and with many internal stakeholders like Global teams in Manufacturing, IT, and other R&D teams based in other countries (and especially with other manufacturing sites in France).

Duties and responsibilities:

Definition, implementation, and supervision of the production cycles for new and already existing products;

Optimization of manufacturing processes to improve general efficiency: cost reduction, capacity increase;

Identification and report of improvement possibilities when it comes to costs/time/quality;

As the Lean Manufacturing leader, you plan and implement process improvement initiatives ;

Manage and follow the automation process of the factory.

Develop KPI and collect the data for process measurement.

Profile & Education

Master / Bachelor in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.

Ideally in a matrix organization in an international environment

Previous experience in related industries and automated production cycles are a plus;

Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, casting, assembling…)

Organized and flexible, you also have strong communication skills;

You are able to work autonomously and are recognized for your problem-solving orientation;

Fluent Italian and professional English skills are both mandatory for this role. French speaking is also a plus
