Software Support Specialist - with French

As part of Dennemeyer Software Solutions, you will join our Software Development team as a Software Support Specialist to handle internal and external requests related to our DIAMS software family, monitor our hosted client systems, and troubleshoot technology issues. You will be working closely with talented developers, architects and QA testers, business analysts and the support team.

You are passionate about technology and programming languages. You are creative and you like to learn. You like to participate in large scale software development activities creating an impact for thousands of active users around the globe.

Your tasks:
  • 1st and 2nd level support for our internally developed software
  • Trace and debug applications
  • Monitor and dispatching issues to our development team
  • Configure the software according to internal requirements
  • Setup or program custom reports
  • Create custom scripts using our self-developed scripting language
  • Perform database configurations via SQL
  • Guiding our colleagues and clients regarding our different software products
  • Learn the business of Intellectual Property


Your profile:
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering or related field is an asset
  • 3 or more years of working experience or education in the field of IT, and service oriented working attitude
  • Good knowledge of SQL and great understanding of Windows server architecture
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Server OS, Network technologies, Security
  • Experience in Visual Studio, Flex/C1 Report Design, XML, troubleshooting web applications and in the field of Intellectual Property are an asset
  • Prove a hands-on mentality and independent working style, be highly motivated to take up responsibility and to complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Customer Service experience and the ability to listen carefully and explain efficiently
  • Self-organized and a creative team player with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Fluency in English and French are mandatory; German knowledge is considered an asset.
