Job Description
AMI is looking for an ambitious and talented Translator to translate entrepreneurship and workplace learning content material from English to French. This is a chance for a driven, organized, competent, tech-savvy professional with good people skills to join the team. The ideal applicant should be fluent in both languages, have a solid experience in translation, and enjoys working in a lively, fast-paced workplace. This would be part-time work, available on a per-project basis.


  • Translation: Accurately translate resources, from English to French while preserving the content's context, style, and tone.
  • Proofreading: Thoroughly edit translated materials to ensure language accuracy and consistency.
  • Cultural Adaptation: Ensure that the translated materials are culturally relevant and appropriate for the intended audience.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on translated content and make necessary revisions to maintain standards of quality.
  • Collaboration: Effectively collaborate with the content development team and other stakeholders to ensure communication and teamwork.
  • Technology Familiarity: Utilize translation software and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy, in the translation process.
  • Meeting Deadlines: Effectively prioritize translation assignments to meet project deadlines.



  • Educational Background: Proficiency and experience in French language and translation, with a preference for native or near-native fluency in English and French.
  • Experience in Translation: A minimum of 2 years of experience in translation is required.
  • Familiarity, with Translation Tools: Having knowledge of translation software and tools including AI, would be advantageous.
  • Experience, with collaboration tools like Google Workspace and other platforms for teamwork.
  • Meticulousness, in ensuring top notch translations and paying attention to detail.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Awareness of cultural nuances and the ability to adapt content accordingly.
  • Time management: High aptitude for managing time well enough to manage several projects at once.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
