The opportunity

EY GDS has a pleasure to announce the opportunity to join a new role as Travel & Event Support working for French-speaking internal customers. The goal of the Travel & Event Support is to support our internal clients on two specifics managing administrative steps to plan groups events (seminars/Restaurant/external meeting room/team building) respecting the Meeting&Event Policy

supporting our internal customer through Travel Policy & New technologies implemented.

Your key responsibilities

Your tasks as Event support will consist in ensuring that necessary steps are followed by the requestors involved on organizing events by:
  • Supporting the requestor through the Event process on all his questions
  • Handling the approval of the event
  • Assigning the sourcing request to our event referenced agencies.
  • Reviewing quote and risk aspect of the event and provide guidelines for review
  • Launch signature of quote/contract
  • Initiate referencing request & payment request

Your tasks as Travel support will consist in assisting internal customer on Travel process by:
  • Qualifying the nature of the request
  • Supporting users on using travel technologies implemented
  • Identifying and logging bugs on Travel tool to Travel agency
  • Replying to question related to the Travel Policy
  • Managing escalations on Travel issues
  • Connecting the traveler with services related to refund, visa, AMEX Card, Insurance

You will also interact & take actions on a regular basis with French travel & event process stakeholders by:
  • Being in contact on daily basis to clarify a travel or event request/claims, get missing information or escalate sensitive situations
  • Being involved on building and growing the travel & event processes as per new rules, tool automation proposals, policy changes, in cooperation with the counsellor.

Skills and attributes for success

  • You are fluent in French language (C1 level) and a good level of English
  • Rigorous, autonomous and organized into the execution and pay attention to details
  • Customer oriented and strong communication skills to communicate effectively with various internal clients.
  • Reactivity and ability to manage urgent and/or complex requests in a professional manner
  • Agility on supporting different projects
  • You possess a very good knowledge of MS Office package (Excel-PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Knowledge or interest on Event and/or Travel industry will be an advantage

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • You are fluent in French language (C1 level) and a good level of English
  • Excellent Customer service approach
  • Experienced user in MS Office

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Excellent knowledge of corporate travel & events environment
