To strengthen our European Customer Care team, we are looking for an After Sales Technician to support our French-speaking customers from our offices in El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona).

The Role

As an After Sales Technician, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by managing warranty claims, technical support requests, product repairs, and customer inquiries. You will act as a trusted advisor to our customers, helping resolve issues efficiently while identifying opportunities to strengthen customer relationships and promote Hayward's solutions.

This position has a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention, and the continued success of our European business.

Location: El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona), Spain

Key Responsibilities

• Manage warranty claims and after-sales service requests from customers.
• Provide technical support and guidance regarding Hayward products and solutions.
• Assist customers in resolving product-related issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain regular contact with customers to gather feedback on product quality and service performance.
• Build strong and lasting relationships with customers to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Ensure all customer interactions are aligned with Hayward's customer service standards.
• Coordinate repair and replacement processes, including stock availability planning and follow-up until completion.
• Work closely with Logistics and other internal departments to ensure efficient resolution of customer cases.
• Monitor and report key after-sales KPIs and service metrics.
• Identify recurring technical issues and communicate relevant insights to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Hayward products, technologies, and industry developments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Customer Care function.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications

• Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Electronics, Electrical Systems, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar after-sales, technical support, customer service, or repair-related role.
• Strong customer orientation and commitment to delivering excellent service.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive mindset.
• Analytical approach with great attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Language Skills

• Fluent French.
• Fluent English.
• Fluent Spanish.

Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is considered an advantage.
