Job description:

The Design Lead takes part in particular in presales activities by responding to the specifications, preparing and executing commercial presentations and demonstrations of our solutions to meet customer needs.

The Design Lead is also responsible for defining the scope of the functional rules to be implemented in GOLD, during workshops he presents to customers. He identifies possible functional gaps and proposes appropriate solutions. He advises on the correct methodology to follow and on market best practices. He is responsible for the quality and the schedule of all the deliverables related to the functional design phase. His functional skills may also lead to his involvement in other phases of the GOLD implementation project, such as tests or launch support.

He knows how to identify opportunities for which Aldata can supply products and services in order to develop its commercial relationship with customers.

Key Responsibilities

He is involved in the following phases:

• Presales:

• Preliminary study with the salesperson
• Responds to the customer specifications (customer questions and needs), is involved in the functional part of the response
• Prepares and participates in commercial presentations of the GOLD solution
• Analysis and definition of the customer business processes: demonstration of GOLD prototypes based on scenarios proposed by customers
• Participates in the workload and schedule proposal

• Scoping:

• Involved in the definition of the project scope and schedule
• Participates in the phase of the launch and deployment strategy definition (definition of the architecture for the IT solutions to be implemented), in the phase of the project ROI

• Conception:

• Responsible for the conception of a project scope
• Prepares and presents the business analysis workshops
• Writes the design deliverables
• Participates in leading of design workshops
• Supports the identification of gaps
• Participates in scoping choices

• Analyses and defines the customer business processes
• Defines the architecture for the IT solutions to be implemented
• Manages and leads a consultant team during design phases
• Manages deliverables
• Main point of contact of customer business managers
• Determines business stakes: defines, organises and guides the business processes to be implemented

Education - Experience:

• Degree from third-level institution such as business or engineering school; if possible, knowledge of IT, and supply chain and retail
• At least 6 years experience
