Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in grants, both at the French national and European levels, to support technical, economic, administrative implementation of projects. The person will be also responsible for fundraising through French national and international R&D programs (mainly ANR, BPI France, Horizon Europe, Eurostars, and FSTPs). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our projects and contributing to PAL Robotics's mission. They will also play a crucial role in executing the R&D strategy and roadmap specific to France.

Primary duties

• Contributing in the writing of new grant proposals, mainly in French.
• Exploring new financing opportunities for R&D activities for France.
• Prepare business and exploitation plans and IPR agreements.
• Coordinate and supervise the proper progress of the projects and collaborate in reviewing and submitting reports (deliverables).
• Collaborating in the financial assessment of the ongoing projects.
• Stakeholder engagement and relationship maintenance with partners, consortium members, and relevant contacts.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

• Proficient in French and English
• Proven experience in managing EU-funded and national research projects, including H2020, Horizon Europe, Eurostars, ANR, CDTi.
• Knowledge of EU regulations, reporting requirements, and basic financial management for projects.
• Applicants need to have a European work permit.
• Availability to travel.

Desired skills/experiences

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in engineering in fields related to PAL Robotics' activity is considered an asset (Robotics/SW/Industrial/Electronics).
• Scientific experience is also an asset.
• Other languages such as Spanish, Catalan or Italian are a plus.
• Soft skills: communication, leadership, motivation, initiative, autonomy, flexibility, team player.
