Join our Indirect Procurement team as a French Speaking buyer!
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for procurement and a flair for French language skills? We want you to join our dynamic Indirect Procurement team!
In this role, you will be responsible for all activities related to all Indirect Manufacturing spend for our plant in France and Swiss. You will support day-to-day operations, ensure that PO's are raised in time, suppliers are chosen with best cost/quality ratio, procurement policy and commodity strategies are followed in full compliance.
Key Jobs Areas Of Responsibilities
- Responsible for all purchasing activities related to Indirect spend within manufacturing plant
- Identify and drive savings opportunity, PT improvement, consumption reduction and value engineering projects through negotiations;
- Drive/Support and implement automation opportunities;
- Manage small value projects for the plant, including RFQ launch, price evaluation, eAuction and contract management; develop strategy for the spend managed
- Negotiate with vendors and review supplier performance, goals and objectives
- Responsible for PO placement and updates as per the need
- Invoice resolution
- Creation of coded materials in Coupa/SAP
- Monitoring and maintain plant stock of spare and consumables as per the plant target
- Develop and implement AOP with plant functions and Global commodities
- Support Global commodities teams in productivity objectives which may impact respective plant
- Engage in stakeholder & requisitioner communication aiming to improve understanding of indirect procurement processes and tools.
YOU NEED:
- Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in the Procurement (Automotive Industry is considered a plus)
- Experience in complex supplier negotiations including preparing and administering Long Term Agreements
- Proven effectiveness in working in a global, multicultural environment
Key Skills:
- Fluency in English and French
- Working experience with SAP (or other system)
- Very well skilled with MS Office Excel, PowerPoint, Projects, Word
- Ability to travel (plane, car), even within short notice
