Mission Description

Within AGL's IT Department, attached to the Freight Forwarding & Transit department, we are recruiting for a permanent contract a Product Owner - BUILD to join the team Connect Logistics.
Put into production in March 2025, Connect Logistics is an orchestrator bus that collects, cleans, and consolidates data from our operational systems (TMS), before delivering it on a web portal dedicated to our clients.
In a transformation context, the project enters a new phase:
• Expand its scope functionally,
• Become a central component of the Transit & ecosystem Freight Forwarding, orchestrating data exchanges between logistics applications and ensuring the reliability of shared information.
Under the responsibility of the Connect Logistics Solution Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of new integrations and strategic product enhancements for the Azure Integration Platform. You will oversee the full lifecycle of product evolutions, from business requirements gathering and solution design through development, testing and deployment, ensuring successful transition to the RUN organization. Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and operational support, you will ensure that new capabilities are delivered on time, aligned with business priorities and fully integrated into the product roadmap.
MAIN MISSIONS
Roadmap Management
• Gather, analyze and challenge new strategic business requirements and integration initiatives.
• Facilitate scoping workshops and document functional requirements.
• Define and maintain data exchange mapping for new integrations.
• Ensure that all product evolutions are aligned with the platform standards and the overall program roadmap.

Development Management
• Build, maintain and prioritize the product backlog (Azure DevOps).
• Prepare functional specifications, write User Stories and define acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and monitor development progress.
• Act as the primary point of contact for technical teams and contribute to the validation of delivered functionalities.

Enhancement Delivery Management
• Manage the delivery of integration projects and product evolutions.
• Produce project status reports, monitor risks, dependencies and action plans.
• Prepare governance materials and support decision-making processes.
• Contribute to the execution of the product roadmap defined jointly with the Solution Manager.
• Coordinate testing activities and monitor defect resolution.
• Ensure end-to-end oversight of product evolutions through to business deployment.

Performance Monitoring & Transition to RUN
• Monitor solution performance in collaboration with the RUN teams and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Ensure the production of functional documentation and oversee

Profile

Qualifications & Experience
• Master's degree (Engineering School, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or Application Manager (Build/Run), preferably in integration platforms, middleware or enterprise application environments.
• Functional knowledge of Logistics and/or International Transportation, preferably within a Freight Forwarding environment is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile environments and coordinating multidisciplinary teams in an international context.
Technical Skills
• Strong experience in functional analysis and specification, including User Stories, acceptance criteria, test scenarios and change management.
• Good understanding of integration architectures, including Enterprise Service Bus, APIs, EDI, messaging systems and orchestration platforms.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure integration services, particularly Azure Service Bus, API Management and Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of data exchange formats and integration concepts (JSON, XML, data mapping, message transformation, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret technical logs to facilitate issue analysis and discussions with technical teams.
• Experience with documentation and collaboration tools such as Confluence, SharePoint and Microsoft Project.
• Strong ability to bridge business and technical teams by translating business requirements into clear functional specifications and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
• Good understanding of software delivery lifecycle, testing activities and production deployment processes.
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
