CK QLS is recruiting four Quality Control Analysts to support a pharmaceutical QC laboratory in Switzerland. This is an opportunity for experienced laboratory professionals who enjoy hands-on biochemical testing and take pride in accurate, well-documented work.
The roleYou will carry out biochemical analyses in a cGMP environment, working to established laboratory procedures and quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing routine testing using techniques such as ELISA, HPLC, electrophoresis, PCR, Western blotting or enzyme activity assays.
- Preparing laboratory solutions and checking that equipment calibration and maintenance are up to date before use.
- Recording results accurately in forms and logbooks in line with Good Documentation Practice and ALCOA+ principles.
- Escalating invalid or out-of-specification results promptly and supporting laboratory investigations.
- Executing reagent and consumable qualification protocols and supporting method, system and equipment validation.
- Maintaining an organised laboratory in line with 5S standards and contributing to continuous improvement.
- A CFC in laboratory science or biology, or another relevant scientific qualification.
- At least three years' experience in a pharmaceutical QC laboratory working under cGMP.
- Practical experience with biochemical analytical methods. Experience in electrophoresis, HPLC, ELISA or enzyme activity testing is particularly relevant.
- A structured, careful approach to laboratory work, with a strong focus on data accuracy, documentation and compliance.
- The ability to stay engaged and maintain high standards when carrying out routine analyses.
- Confidence working in a busy laboratory where priorities can change quickly, along with the judgement to flag issues promptly.
- Fluent French and sufficient technical English to understand laboratory procedures and documentation.
- Experience writing method validation protocols would be an advantage.
