Job Description
The mission of the teachers in the Primary school are as follows:

• Primarymission is to teach according to the French Ministry of Education programs

• Secondarymission that is directly related to teaching such as
• preparationand research needed for the lessons, follow up, evaluation and guidanceof students,
• pedagogicaland multi-professional team work and
• ensurerelationship with parents
• Additionalmissions for some teachers include specific responsibilities with regardsto pedagogical action for students

• Contribute to the promotion of French language and culture
• Participate in training programs
• Develop competences regarding the use of computer interactive white boards, digital tablets and other information tools.
• Participation in projects and teamwork
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Principals.

Specific Mission for the Kindergarten teachers as follows: (according to "Loi n°2013-595 du 8 juillet 2013"):

• Encourageearly learning for children
• Stimulatechildren's motor, sensorial, cognitive and social development
• Developchild's self-esteem and for others
• Adaptteaching methodology to prevent any learning difficulties by detecting disabilitiesof the students. Also to include them in class participation as well as tominimize inequalities among the students.

Specific Mission for the Elementary teachers as follows: (according to "Loi n°2013-595 du 8 juillet 2013"):

• Ensureacquisition of fundamental knowledge
• Ensureteaching with regards to oral and written expression, reading, calculationand problem solving
• Contributeto develop students' intelligence, artistic, physical, sports, sensitivitycompetences and skills
• Provideeducation related to History, Geography, Sciences, Arts and Techniques
