Account Manager (French/Dutch/English)

Date de publication 15.09.2026

Within our Company-Specific Programmes (CSP) team, we are looking for an Account Manager to manage and develop a portfolio of corporate clients and their learning programmes.

As Account Manager, you act as the main point of contact for your clients and take ownership of your programmes from the initial client request through design, delivery and follow-up.

Working closely with clients, Academic Directors, faculty members and our Programme Coordination team, you ensure that each programme combines academic relevance, operational excellence, financial performance and a high-quality client experience.

Beyond programme management, you contribute to developing long-term client relationships and, in close collaboration with the Management, help identify new opportunities for collaboration - whether within existing accounts or with new organisations.

Your responsibilities

Your role revolves around four main areas:

1 - Client & Account Management

You build trusted and long-term relationships with your portfolio of corporate clients.

You understand their business context, organisational challenges and learning needs, and translate them into relevant executive education solutions together with our academic teams.

You:
  • act as the main point of contact for your clients throughout the relationship;
  • respond to incoming learning and development requests, prepare tailored programme proposals and present them to the client;
  • coordinate the development of solutions with Academic Directors and internal stakeholders;
  • maintain regular contact with clients before, during and after programme delivery;
  • remain attentive to evolving client needs and proactively identify potential opportunities for follow-up programmes, cross-selling and upselling;
  • share client insights, market signals and potential leads with the Management and contribute to the identification of new business opportunities;
  • when relevant, support the Management in selected business development initiatives, including prospecting and the preparation of new client opportunities;
  • contribute to developing and strengthening Solvay Lifelong Learning's corporate network.

2 - Programme & Project Management

You take ownership of your programmes from contracting to completion.

Together with the Programme Coordination team and Academic Directors, you ensure that programmes are delivered according to agreed scope, timing, budget and quality standards.

This includes:
  • defining the programme scope, planning and key milestones;
  • preparing contracts and programme budgets;
  • coordinating internal and external stakeholders;
  • briefing Programme Coordinators and academic teams;
  • ensuring clear roles and responsibilities throughout the project;
  • overseeing key programme moments such as kick-offs, events and closing or graduation sessions;
  • anticipating issues and ensuring appropriate follow-up when required.

3 - Financial & Business Performance

You are responsible for the financial performance of your portfolio and programmes.

You:
  • prepare and monitor programme budgets and P&Ls;
  • follow turnover, costs, margins, invoicing and payments;
  • ensure programmes are delivered within agreed financial parameters;
  • contribute to the CSP team's commercial objectives by supporting client development and helping the Management identify opportunities across existing accounts and new prospects.

4 - Quality & Continuous Improvement

Client satisfaction and programme impact are central to the role.

You work with clients, participants, Programme Coordinators and Academic Directors to continuously improve the quality and relevance of our programmes.

You:
  • ensure appropriate quality and evaluation processes are in place;
  • analyse participant and client feedback;
  • organise programme debriefings when relevant;
  • identify and implement corrective actions together with academic and operational teams;
  • share insights and best practices across the CSP team.

You also actively contribute to the broader life and development of Solvay Lifelong Learning through cross-functional initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who combines strong client orientation, project management skills and business acumen.

You have:
  • relevant professional experience (3-5 years min.) in account management, project management, client services or the delivery of professional services, ideally in a B2B environment;
  • strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several projects and stakeholders simultaneously;
  • a good understanding of budgets and financial management;
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • a genuine client-service mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships;
  • an interest in executive education, learning and the corporate world;
  • a proactive and solution-oriented approach;
  • a natural ability to spot opportunities, connect client needs with potential solutions and contribute to business development efforts;
  • the ability to work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative environment.

Experience in business development or the sale of services is a strong asset.

You are fluent in French, Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

Above all, you recognise yourself in the values that shape the Solvay community: excellence, collaboration, entrepreneurship, free inquiry and sustainability.

Benefits

Joining Solvay Lifelong Learning means working at the crossroads of the academic and corporate worlds, within one of Belgium's leading business schools.

We offer:
  • a varied role combining client relationships, business development and project management;
  • exposure to leading companies, executives, academics and experts across a wide range of industries;
  • a stimulating, international and intellectually rich working environment;
  • significant autonomy and ownership of your client portfolio;
  • opportunities to contribute to the continuous development of our Company-Specific Programmes activity.

You will join a team committed to creating learning experiences that make a tangible difference for both individuals and organisations.

Application informations:
  • Please send your application (cv + motivation letter)
  • Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis.
  • The position is available immediately. Interested candidates are invited to submit their application by 15 October.
  • Given the important number of applications expected, only short listed candidates will be contacted.
