ArcelorMittal Business Center of Excellence is looking for candidates for a position of

Accounting CLS Support with French

You will be responsible for:

• Perform period close processes (IFRS & Statutory GAAP)
• Analyze GL accounts, and provide necessary reports to understand variances, perform an in depth ageing analysis and make proposal to clear old outstanding items.
• Analyze open Purchase orders in interface with business and make proposal to clear old outstanding items.
• Perform monthly analysis of transportation cost (including alignment with commercial controlling and logistic teams), propose clearing of accounts for CLS validation and post necessary bookings
• Support on internal & external audits documentation to ensure compliance with legal, and financial standards. This includes preparation of Sox controls and documentation related to specific topics or processes
• Address vendor and/or business inquiries; verify claims and provide information related to ad hoc requests.
• Support business and BCOE team for manual payment: identify GL accounts, cost center
• Create purchase orders for Finance department as well as for central costs (insurance premium, auditors fees, tax fees). This includes interface with supplier and Procurement to create vendors in SAP master data
• Support in ad hoc requests by providing the necessary data for further analysis
• Participate in team meetings (local team and colleagues in different locations).

What we expect from you:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; knowledge of IFRS standard
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Ability to communicate in French (both spoken & written)
• Strong IT skills for following systems:
  - Microsoft tools (such as Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote, etc)
  - SAP ACE and ACE BI / PowerBI
  - BPM
• Knowledge of the production process
• Acting with purpose and focusing on achieving agreed objectives.
• Problem-solving and able to independently plan and manage own work
• Able to communicate with different stakeholders: Finance and non Finance
• Continues to perform effectively under time pressure or in challenging circumstances
