Description:We are seeking a talented individual to join our Accounting Operations team at Marsh Group. This role will be based in Warsaw. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As part of the Warsaw Accounting Operations (AO) hub, this role will supervise a team within the Accounts Receivable (AR) function. You will be a part of an energetic and still growing team within Marsh Group's Financial Hub, which is part of the wider finance head office function. The function provides accounting services to more than 30 countries within the EMEA region, across all Marsh Group operating companies.
We will count on you to:
- Supervise a team of 10-15 people
- Conduct operational activities of the AR function such as reconciliation of client accounts, coding, and refunds to clients
- Take care of accounting processes, ensuring accurate processing, recording, and reporting of financial information
- Review and improve processes to achieve and maintain global standardization
- Support the robust control environment and ensure compliance with all relevant standards
- Ensure that developed KPIs and SLAs are met
- Assist with auditors, audit requirements, and SOX testing
What you need to have:
- Proven people management experience
- Very good English is a must and knowledge of French or Dutch as an asset
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience with proven operational improvement capabilities
- Working knowledge of ERP Accounting systems, e.g., Oracle Financials
- Excellent customer service skills
What makes you stand out:
- University degree in finance, accounting, or economics, or recognized Accounting qualification, e.g., ACCA
- Previous experience in SSC / BPO
