The Center of Excellence Accounts Payable Team is responsible for on-time payment delivery to all 3rd party suppliers in line with contractual terms and conditions. Our team goals are to streamline financial processes and implement new strategic solutions and systems to drive enhanced performance across all entities.

Major Responsibilities

• Assist in projects for the continuous improvement and standardization of processes.
• Support improvement of key performance indicators.
• Validate and post supplier invoices.
• Resolve invoice / PO discrepancies and coordinate the approval of invoices according to policy.
• Process and clear weekly outgoing payments in alignment with local finance.
• Complete period-end activities - including reconciliation of G/L accounts.
• Handle queries from external and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure controls prescribed in the process documentations are thoroughly followed.
• Correct reported errors in the ERP system.
• Maintain the Desktop Procedures through regular reviews and updates.
• Complete tasks assigned to him/her by the Team Leader/Line Manager.

Skills Required

• Ability to interact with employees and vendors in an effective manner.
• Ability to speak and write in English and French.
• Proficient MS Office user - mainly in Excel and Word.
• Knowledge in SAP or ERP systems is an advantage.
