Job Description
Main objective of the job:
- Responsible for the integrity of all accounting activities related to Accounts Receivable area.
Main attributions and responsibilities:
- Checking of incoming payments in SAP;
- Posting of incoming payments in SAP;
- Reconciliation and monitoring of interfaces, including correction of mistakes;
- Reconciliation of credit notes and debit notes;
- Creating and sending statements of account;
- Accounts and balance reconciliation;
- Clarification of customers requests;
- Support of year end closing activities in the area of AR IFRS and local GAAP;
- Perform Collection activities on customers accounts;
- Preparing the customer statements of accounts, dunning letters;
- Management of customers in administration/liquidation;
- Follow up and resolving the rejected direct debits from customers;
- Reimbursements;
- Write offs bad debts;
- Clarification of Unapplied cash;
- Solving customers queries related to the invoices;
- Attending phone calls from customers and initiating the calls to them;
- Ensure good communication with local unit and internal/external customers.
Qualifications
Studies:
- University Diploma
- High school Diploma
Knowledge and Skills:
- Fluently spoken and written of French and English; any other language in a plus;
- University degree in Financial/ Accounting field;
- Balance sheet accounts and their functionality;
- Accruals, provisions, salary , exchange rates differences knowledge; Complex accounting postings;
- Cash flow: calculation and evaluation;
- Performance indicators: methodology and presentation of the results;
- Good Knowledge of specific SAP transactions in area of accounts receivable;
- Good overview of SAP related to other accounting processes;
- Microsoft Office Package - essential knowledge of Excel; Strong communication skills;
- Ability to work under pressure during peak periods and respecting the deadlines;
- Team player and ability to work in a flexible way;
- Autonomous working style; Attention to details; Willing to travel.
