What are your responsibilities?

• Performing critical collection activities on overdue invoices, such as phone calls, emails, dunning letters, and regularly contacting customers to determine reasons for payment delays.
• Analysing and investigating root causes of outstanding balances by liaising with internal and external customers.
• Proactively communicating with management about significant overdue receivables and potential risks.
• Managing credit risk by handling order blocks/unblocks and assessing customers' payment histories.
• Collaborating with internal departments to resolve claims and customer issues and respond to inquiries.
• Providing day-to-day customer service in accordance with established standards and continuously improving service quality.
• Monitoring payment plans and ensuring adherence to agreed schedules.
• Leading escalation meetings and communications.
• Supporting month-end close and AR accounting tasks.
• Preparing data and reports and continuously seeking process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer data in the accounting system to ensure data integrity.
• Providing required documentation and support during internal and external audits.
• Supporting the deployment of new tools, systems, and processes within the receivables function.
• Participating in team meetings and training sessions to stay current on policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Acting as a deputy for other team members during their absence to ensure continuity of AR operations.

What makes you a good fit for this role?

• Secondary vocational or higher education in a relevant field (accounting, finance, economics) or related.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in English (minimum B1).
• Proficiency in French (B2/C1).
• Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to conduct workshops and training sessions for employees.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic business conditions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel).
