We are currently looking for an AssistantAccountant - Fluent in French(M/F) based in Oporto

BE PART OF OUR GIE ACCOUNTING TEAM

You will join the GIE Accounting team, a dynamic team of 7 people who are part of Management Control and Accounting department at Head Office. Comprising Management Control and Accounting processes, this department is dedicated to end-to-end monitoring of overheads, from booking invoices to analyzing results in compliance with various insurance norms.

YOUR FUTURE MISSION IN THE GIE ACCOUNTING TEAM

• Control and follow-up the entire expense reporting process
• Validate expense reports in the dedicated tool
• Create / Modify employee's files and information
• Main point of contact for employees in case of issues / anomalies as well as training support if needed
• Monitor automatic data upload and integration with other financial tools
• Liaise with Accounts Payable department to authorize respective payments

AS OUR NEW ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT, YOU MUST HAVE:

• Degree in accounting / finance / audit
• Professional background of at least 1-2 years in a equivalent position (preferable)
• Fluent in French (B2/C1 level is mandatory)
• Good accounting knowledge insurance industry knowledge is a plus (mainly accounts payable/accounts receivable)
• Office tools experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
