BIM Engineer ll (French Speaking)

Job Description

Overview

The person in this position will work Collaboratively and closely Among a team of Structural Engineers in a multi-discipline environment to manage design responsibilities, deliverables and to resolve design related Co Ordination issues associated with the project.

Your role

• Prepare 3D Structural Models Using Autodesk Revit.
• Generate 2D drawing Sheets from 3D models.
• Prepare The 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Have resilience in exchanging mark ups within different formats and software (PDF, DWG, DWF)
• Have a Sound Structural Judgment over Schematics and initial Proposals.
• Develop the 2D drawings of structure/foundation plans, sections, elevations as per the developed design sketches.
• Develop the details & sections as the design progresses from schematic to detailed stage.
• Prepare the material take-off from 3D models and/or drawings.
• Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received to ensure that they conform to design concepts.
• Other duites as applicable.

About you

• Bachelor's in civil engineering specializing in structural engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of design and BIM Modelling experience in Structural Engineering.
• Experience in 2D and 3D designs for concrete foundation, concrete structure, steel structure with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit & Navisworks
• Excellent communication skills in French, ability to maintain confidential information critical.
• Ability to work independently and collaboration with other disciplines.
