Buyer with French (fixed term contract - 18 months)

This is a fixed-term contract position for 18 months

As a Buyer, you will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, maintaining inventory availability, and driving operational excellence across a global supply chain environment. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with multiple business functions while making a direct impact on customer service and manufacturing performance.

What You Will Do

• Manage purchasing activities for an assigned portfolio to maintain material availability and support customer service targets.
• Place purchase orders and maintain accurate order and delivery dates within the enterprise resource planning system.
• Monitor inventory receipts and proactively resolve supply issues to ensure on-time material availability.
• Analyze material requirements and adjust purchasing plans based on supply planning reviews and changing demand.
• Collaborate with suppliers to understand planning and capacity processes and align supply with business requirements.
• Expedite or defer orders as needed to balance material availability while supporting inventory targets.
• Generate and communicate purchasing, inventory, and supplier performance metrics to key stakeholders.
• Partner with Supply Planning, Sourcing, Engineering, Customer Service, Transportation, and Distribution teams to support business initiatives and continuous process improvements.

What You Will Need

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Materials Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a material requirements planning (MRP) environment.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Preferred

• Experience working with SAP.
• Professional certification in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Procurement, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting supplier performance management and inventory optimization activities.

Poland Pay Ranges:

• Poland: zł101.300 - zł169.000 PLN Annual
