The Buyer within the PO execution team ensures timely, accurate and compliant processing of all Procurement Operations transactions in accordance with performance and quality standards defined in relevant service level agreements and as described in the end-to end process documentation.
What We Offer
Responsible for the day to day Procurement operations including issue resolution and Supplier Management for the following process areas:
• Processing of PRs and release of POs to suppliers according to OSP and within quality and time constraints
• Track and follow up POs and deliveries to ensure security of supply
• Documentation in SAP
• Manage import licenses and (currently not in Operations in Germany) end-use certificates for concerned raw materials
• Assist and support ad-hoc requests
• Manage availability issue resolution in coordination with requisitioners and planners
• Coordinate delivery and quality non conformities in relation with respective plant stakeholders
• Support investigation of root cause analysis on procurement issues
• Support the timely follow-up on planning, quality and ensuring appropriate commercial relations with the supply base.
• Supports team members to achieve performance and quality standards as defined in relevant service level agreements.
• Manage operational supplier performance, on time in full (OTIF)
• Resolve major supply issues and complaints in collaboration with Category Management/ Sourcing
• Other tasks based on superior request.
The minimum base salary is 1500 EUR and can be higher depending on the skills and experience of the candidate.
What You Offer
• Degree in business or technical field.
• Approximately 2-3 years of experience in Procurement operations, preferably in a Service Center environment.
• Basic knowledge of SAP and typical other IT-tools as a plus.
• Self-disciplined with ability to work independently and under stress and pressure.
• Acts as a role model by being a team-player.
• Ability to adapt to new culture and people.
• Strong service orientation: strong commitment to customer orientation and understanding of customer needs and market trends.
• Strong communication skills.
• Business proficient English and French
