Job Description

You will be part of an international team and you will support the setup and operate Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop environments.

Main responsibilities as follows:

• Managing the delivery of hundreds of applications using packaging and streaming delivery methods
• Managing Rollup and Hotfix deployment across the Citrix infrastructure
• Manage the delivery of hundreds of Desktops using pooled and dedicated delivery methods
• Provide application break fix working with support application support teams and managing customer coordination.
• Upgrading and maintaining all the tools and infrastructure necessary to provide the above services
• Analyse incident requests, diagnosis, and root cause determination for resolutions.
• Effectively troubleshoot various latency, bottlenecks, and other performance-based problems.
• Define and manage access to the applications and Citrix environments based on the defined processes.
• Monitor and provide performance tuning to system components as required to ensure optimum system function
• Monitor all components of Citrix infrastructure to maintain performance and reliability
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and tests
• Ensure adequate documentation of all strategies, processes, and procedures related to the implementation and support of the environment
• Collaborate with Hardware and Windows technical teams to ensure proper integration with each system

Job Requirements

• Education: Preferably Computer university degree or a similar qualification.
• Professional experience/knowledge

Technical University degree or equivalent experience - Computer Science would be a plus

Solid hands-on experience working with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop, Citrix Hypervisor, Citrix NetScaler

Solid hands-on experience would be a plus for the following:

Ivanti (AppSense) (Environment, Performance, and Application manager)

Microsoft App-V

Microsoft MDT (Deployment Toolkit)

Microsoft Windows PowerShell DSC (Desired State Configuration)

Solid hands-on experience with server operating systems 2012, 2016, 2019

Solid hands on experience working with Microsoft desktop OS Windows 7/10 32/64 bit

Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DFS, DHCP

Must be able to learn new applications / programs quickly

Interacting with customers at various levels within the organization

Ability to connect with Microsoft and other solution partners for technical solutions

ITIL knowledge

• Foreign Languages:
  • Strong working knowledge of English and French (verbal and written) it's a must;
