Job Summary
GLG'sis seeking a French speaking Client Solutions Associate in Barcelona who has a strong interest in excelling at best-in-class client service in a fast paced, and team-oriented environment.
This is a key role within GLG, you will be autonomously responsible for building new relationships with our experts, delivering value for clients and working with senior colleagues to maximise commercial growth opportunities within some of our region's most important accounts.
We work with a prestigious and sophisticated client base at leading financial services institutions, including some of the world largest Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Private Debt funds, Private Equity firms and Mutual Funds.
After completing an initial training period, Client Solutions Associates spend the first 12-18 months focused on recruiting new experts into GLG's network and learning client service and project management skill-sets.
This role is based out of our London office & operates under GLG's hybrid working policy. Further details will be provided to you during the interview process.
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Leveraging GLG's network to match experts with clients, based on clients' research needs
Daily interaction with GLG's experts over the phone to qualify profiles to ensure exact fit for client projects
Recruiting new experts through targeted and timely outreach by phone, email, and other methods
Enhancing your knowledge of the European credit market and client base
Supporting more senior team members on all aspects of client engagement, including researching topics and industries relevant to our clients
Driving key stages of project management to deliver value to clients, executing time-sensitive projects within a specialised team
An ideal candidate will have the following:
Ability to multi-task and prioritise activities effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
High motivation to exceed operational and commercial targets
Confidence in making outbound cold calls and various other outreach methods
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
Passion for client service and strong desire to work in a collaborative environment
Strong problem-solving skills and desire to learn about financial markets
Demonstrated ability and initiative to handle increasing responsibility and autonomy over time
Undergraduate or graduate result of 2:1 or higher
Full business proficiency in English; additional European languages are desirable but not essential for this role
Career Progression:Client Solutions Associates are promoted to Senior Associates after 12 - 18 months after achieving specific quantitative and qualitative goals. Senior Associates work directly with our clients to help them learn and make better decisions every day. Senior Associates do so by facilitating custom learning solutions and expanding their account management responsibilities.
