Collections Analyst with English and French skills
Description -Applies
experienced level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems of complex scope. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.
Responsibilities: - Effectively manage debt collections for a highly complex portfolio of accounts in the French, Regional or Global market in order to reach aging targets with minimum supervision, with good communication and negotiations techniques
- Establishes a plan of action to reach or exceed targets
- Uses collection tools in accordance with the training, processes and expectations defined with the manager
- Applies correct judgement when applying the collection strategy
- Escalates timely and ensures correct follow-up until the issue is solved
- Ensures timely documentation of aged receivable with relevant comments and with the frequency specified in the processes
- Respects C&C processes and policies
Education and Experience Required: - Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in collection, credit, banking, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
- Must have proficiency in English and French language
Knowledge and Skills: - Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Intermediate accounting knowledge.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent prioritization skills.
- Excellent understanding of risk mitigation tools.
- Good understanding of HP processes and tools
- Intermediate influence skills.
