Inviting applications for the role of Collections Specialist - Senior Process Associate -French - Hybrid Budapest
This is a role within Genpact HMS - EMEA - Finance Invoice to Cash service line.
This role is for an experienced collection specialist within the EMEA Collections team. The primary purpose is to provide expert collections management on the assigned customer base, deliver on Past Due targets, close cooperation with business partners, and focus on continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
• Drive cash flow improvements within EMEA region. Required to successfully manage the assigned portfolio to deliver cash flow targets in line with monthly goals and expectations.
• Pro-actively support monthly action plans on delinquent customers and open disputes across the portfolio to support resolution and mitigate root cause.
• Daily management through advanced collections tools in line with portfolio expectations and priorities. Manage and maintain the customer master file for both SAP, Get Paid and Oracle systems ensuring accurate data on all customers.
• Build key business relationships with sales and operational teams to drive improvements in the OTC cycle.
• Support and manage the decision making on stop shipments for their key countries.
• Ensure W/O and reserves are reflective of country specifics. Including escalation to Atradius collections and legal proceedings.
• Provide accurate weekly cash forecasts highlighting risks, opportunities and providing recommendations to management based on collection activity to ensure targets are achieved.
• Behave and Deliver in a way that is in line with the team's and the organization's guidelines and goals.
• Act as a role model in terms of a team player, be supportive, accountable, organized, accurate on the long run, and take pride in the job you are responsible for.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience in collection, order management, cash application or similar relevant experience
• Fluent spoken and written French & English essential.
• Strong understanding of the Order to cash process.
• Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer focus and service delivery
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required.
• Strong team player
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Ability to negotiate effectively to drive resolutions
• Ability to provide accurate data and proven experience in ability to influence recipients in relation to content.
• Process Improvement experience, always looking for opportunities to refine the way we do things.
• Previous experience of SAP, Get Paid and/or Oracle systems preferred.
