Content Analyst French Language
Responsible for collection of shareholdings information for 5 Francophonic markets. This role is crucial as the trade and insider filings received need to be processed daily within 24hours (same day compliance)to maintain BAU for these markets.
Responsible for database administration and sourcing of exchange. Working with other staff, being responsible for the contributor relationship between company, and the local exchange, contributor or data supplier for day to operations. Ensuring that relevant information is maintained and delivered in an accurate and timely manner. The position is within Data Operations which supports data across company; products and services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Process and maintain data accurately and in a timely manner onto databases using technical and financial knowledge.
Communicate & liaise with internal and external departments for resolution of data queries.
Developing expertise in data related issues. Build up knowledge of financial regulations and market practices/conventions in relevant markets.
Improve usage of available tools/support to best of advantage to maintain/improve content quality during daily operations.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness per company standards for the covered product/market.
Test new database/application releases where appropriate, providing guide user feedback.
Support specific projects, as assigned by manager.
Adhere to change control procedures, data operations standards and current data policies and procedures.
Responsible for delivering high productivity and quality data.
Proactively determine and resolve data problems.
TECHNICAL / PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
The critical skills that a successful incumbent would possess:
Fluency in French verbal and written Quick and accurate decision maker, solid grasp of risk management, G awareness of investment banking, Good at mitigating risk.
Effectively communicate both internally & externally.
Proficiency in speaking and writing English. A second language may also be required, depending on what market is supported
Handle work under stress. There would be a need to over-stretch during the peak season to run volumes.
Understanding of Financial Markets Analytical and thoroughly.
Basic computer knowledge is required, such as Microsoft Office.
