What you will do - Own the management of standard and high-risk customer accounts, including overdue balances, disputes, payment plans, and account blocks or releases
- Lead proactive collection efforts through phone, email, and written communication, using a professional and customer-focused approach
- Handle complex and escalated cases, including recovery actions for severely delinquent accounts and coordination with external partners when needed
- Negotiate and implement payment arrangements in line with company policies and approved credit guidelines
- Analyze customer payment behavior and accounts receivable data to identify risk trends, recovery potential, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and deliver insights on high-risk portfolios, overdue exposure, and bad debt risk to support accurate forecasting and decision-making
- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation of collection activities, account updates, and financial adjustments
- Partner closely with Sales and Customer Service to align on customer financial status and resolve issues efficiently
- Act as a senior team member by supporting process improvements, guiding less experienced colleagues, and contributing to training and knowledge sharing
- Own the management of standard and high-risk customer accounts, including overdue balances, disputes, payment plans, discrepancies, unapplied cash, discounts, credit postings, write-offs, payout requests, balance statements, reconciliations and account blocks or releases
Who you are - You hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field
- You are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are welcome
- You bring solid experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role
- You communicate clearly and confidently, and you are skilled in constructive negotiation
- You manage multiple priorities effectively and stay organized under deadlines
- You are comfortable working with ERP and financial systems; experience with SAP is an advantage
- You work independently, take ownership of your responsibilities, and contribute proactively to team success
