CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER FOR FRANCE

As part of the Corporate Communications department, the Media Relations team is expanding where communication specialists for markets and expert topics work closely together to develop exciting Zalando stories and to communicate them to the international media landscape in innovative formats. We offer you a permanent position as corporate communications manager for the French market in our Berlin headquarters. You will be responsible for the media relations activities in France around the work Zalando is doing in Europe. YOUR CHALLENGE Communication. You are responsible for the coordination, alignment and implementation of an integrated communications approach for Zalando in France across different channels, including effective measurement of your activities. You position the Zalando Country Manager for France as e-commerce thought leader in the market. Network. You build up a solid network of press contacts in the relevant set of French media, e-commerce bloggers, opinion leaders and organization representatives. You steer and coordinate all communication activities of our external partner agency in France. Thinking outside the box. You are familiar with all current industry-wide e-commerce trends and you know how to leverage on them to put our stories, projects and teams on the agenda of relevant influencers. You love to think outside the box and trial new formats but you also know how to handle sensitive topics confidently. YOU MAKE AN IMPACT USING YOUR SKILLS Skilled. You can impress us with your professional experience in journalism and/ or media relations. You’ve previously worked in an international environment dealing with media representatives in France. Ideally, you have gathered experience in an e-commerce/ consumer focused environment. Motivated. You have a strategic, results-oriented approach to work and you are capable of making decisions in a high-pressured situation while paying strict attention to detail. You work proactively and always keep on top of things even in a very dynamic and fast-paced environment. Communicative. You have exceptional written and oral communication skills in French and you’re also comfortable with English. Basic language skills in German is a plus but not mandatory.
