ArcelorMittal Business Center of Excellence is looking for candidates for a position of:

Cost Controller & Data Analyst with French

You will be responsible for:

• Execute monthly and quarterly differentiated cost runs in the product costing tool (Crystal)
• Maintain & Upload several databases (including gathering, aggregating and publishing data)
• Prepare and post monthly accruals
• Provide accounting data to Finance and business (industrial teams, e.g : energy)
• Coordinate data collection and prepare forecast proposal for HR, Fixed costs, Central costs, production cost to be validated by local Finance team.
• Update Planning & Forecasting tool with necessary data and assumptions to provide production cost forecast
• Prepare variance analysis and provide qualitative comments to local Finance team : alert, explain (through complex studies if necessary), present findings within defined financial categories (fixed costs, variable costs, etc.), and propose improvement plans to management within their scope.
• Prepare SOX controls related to the scope
• Prepare various reportings
• Provide Settings of new Materials in ACE BI and GCB
• Design & adapt reports based on stakeholders needs
• Support on Ad hoc questions & requests from Finance & non Finance
• Support during audits (internal & external)

What are our expectations:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. economics, finance, IT).
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Ability to communicate in French in writing (French speaking would be an asset)
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
• Strong IT skills: proficient in MS Office (Excel,...), knowledge of SQL server, BW/BI tools, SAP, Python, Power BI
• Accounting Knowledge, including understanding of corporate operations, internal controls, and compliance
• Knowledge of the production process
• Analytical skills
• Problem-solving and able to independently plan and manage own work.
