Are you fluent in French and English with a knack for managing customer relationships?
Join our European Collections team at Finastra, where you'll play a key role in managing credit control and collections for our European banking customers. This is an opportunity to develop specialized financial skills while working in a collaborative, international environment.
Key Responsibilities - Manage credit control for French-speaking customers, ensuring timely collections.
- Communicate professionally in both French and English via emails, calls, and meetings.
- Collaborate with key internal teams, including: Sales, Project Management, Commercial Finance, Finance Business Partners and Legal.
- Analyze customer contracts and relationships to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
- Identify and escalate payment or contractual issues to the appropriate teams.
- Perform financial analysis using Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) to support collections efforts.
What You Bring - Fluency in French and English (written and verbal).
- 2-3 years of experience in customer service, credit control, or collections within an international environment.
- Strong business acumen and ability to navigate cross-functional interactions.
- Negotiation skills to manage customer payment discussions effectively.
- Proficiency in Excel for financial data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications - Background in Customer Support Management (CSM) or financial operations.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop specialized skills.
- Experience handling complex customer interactions in a professional setting.
