We are currently seeking a
Credit Collector with fluent French language skills to join our
EMEA Credit and Collections Team in Budapest. This position offers a great opportunity to immerse yourself in our
Accounts Receivable processes and grow within the role. As a Credit Collector, you will play a key role in ensuring timely payment collection and account management, helping to keep our customer accounts accurate and up to date.
Main responsibilities of this role:- Communicate with our clients daily
- Track and resolve outstanding payment issues
- Own, report and proactively escalate any queries preventing payments
- Assist in clarifying unapplied cash
- Resolve billing issues and address customer invoice queries
- Identify delinquent accounts to be written off or placed with collection agency
- Prepare and contribute to various AR reports
- Provide credit check and release blocked orders
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with various stakeholders on all business levels
- Participate in various ad-hoc Group projects to improve order-to-cash process
- Execute other administrative tasks
Experience and skills:- Approx. 3-5 years proven experience as Credit Collector or similar role
- Experience within a Shared Service Centre is preferred
- Sound accounting and Excel skills
- Fluency both in French and in English
- Plus one more language knowledge right next to French is advantage from the following: German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian
- Confident user of SAP and MS Office Tools
- Proactive and hands-on mentality
- Strong communicator
- High problem solving skills
- Analytical mindset
- Well-developed organization and prioritization skills
- Secondary school certificate is a must, BSc in Finance & Accounting or in Business Administration is an advantage
