Through a series of events, online content and investment reports, ECP unites the entire energy value chain - from oil and gas exploration to renewable power - and facilitates global and intra-African investment and collaboration.
Job Description- Producing the full scope of content leading up to the events including client interviews, articles and infographics.
- Covering individual panels, keynote presentations and workshops during all events.
- Developing and editing content for the ECP website, including press/news releases, story pitches, articles and thought leadership columns.
- Research and write editorial content, including conducting interviews on behalf of ECP's clients.
Qualifications- Diploma or Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2-5 years) in content creation, editing, or field reporting.
- Fluent in French (written and spoken) is essential; proficiency in English is required.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with experience producing articles, press releases, interviews, and infographics.
- Experience in web content management and familiarity with CMS platforms is advantageous.
- Ability to conduct interviews, panel coverage, and live event reporting.
- Understanding of PR campaigns, client communications, and thought leadership content.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable liaising with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in reporting tools and the ability to provide regular project updates to management.
