What success looks like in this role: As a Finance Manager, you will oversee a broad range of financial activities, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, and treasury functions. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining accounting policies, financial controls, and reporting standards. This role requires a high level of expertise and leadership to manage complex projects and drive efficiency through technology and process improvement within the Finance organization.
Key Responsibilities- Group Reporting & Day to Day Controllership
- Cashflow Management - working with AP/AR as required
- Banking & Treasury Support
- Ownership of P&L & Balance sheet of Each Entity
- Work with COE & other teams to ensure ME & QE is completed on time and accurately
- Prepare Revenue Checklists as required
- Review and present QAR
- Prepare P&L Story and revenue flux
- Corporate Quarterly Tax forecast and Onesource Sign off
- Audit & Compliance
- Prepare and complete Financial Statements with support from Third Parties where applicable
- Lead Local Audit of Financial Statements
- Ensure VAT returns are submitted on time
- Work with Third Parties to prepare and Submit Tax returns (Corporation, Payroll, etc) on time
- Input to Transfer Pricing process for Entities
- Submission of Statistical Surveys as Required
- Manage Guarantees & support Insurance Renewal requirements
- Other:
- Pensions Support - attend Committee Meeting, provide accounting support
- Adhoc queries from local Business/BU CFOs.
- Projects as assigned
- Works Council reporting if applicable
You will be successful in this role if you have:- Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a related area, with experience in financial reporting, accounting, and project management.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in financial systems and technology.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Experience in managing teams and leading financial projects.
- Language: Fluent in French (both speaking and writing) is essential.
- Preferred: Experience in a global organization or with a Big 4 accounting firm.
