Finance Manager (Manufacturing) - Africa Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full spectrum of financial management activities for the manufacturing operation, including financial accounting, cost control, budgeting, financial reporting, analysis, and tax compliance.
• Support senior leadership in monitoring and optimizing business processes, internal controls, and financial governance.
• Review and provide financial input on significant commercial agreements, contracts, and investment decisions.
• Participate in the development and execution of annual business plans and provide financial insights to support operational and strategic objectives.
• Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to management.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team to drive performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven experience in cost accounting and manufacturing finance is essential.
• Experience managing tax matters and supporting international operations is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems and ERP platforms.
• Fluent in English; French proficiency is strongly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while effectively managing cross-functional relationships.
• Strong professional integrity, sound judgment, and decision-making capabilities.
• Willingness to relocate and be based in Africa.

Preferred Profile

• French-speaking finance professionals with experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience working with French-owned or French-invested manufacturing companies is highly advantageous.
• Exposure to international business operations and multicultural environments.
• Comfortable participating in remote/video interview processes.
