- JOB PURPOSE
- Be accountable for the financial performance of CHC North West Africa perimeter, which includes: Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco and SA ZA
- Be the strategic partner to the Commercial Head of this geography.
- Provide assistance to FPL Partner Markets AMET as and when required
- Be exposed to a very dynamic environment, working in close partnership with local Business team members and with stakeholders from all functions of the CHC NWA organization.
KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIESBe a Business Partner for the Business leader- Support in decision-making process, based on sound judgment, finance expertise and business acumen
- Drive cash flow optimization initiatives at local level and monitoring of stock in trade
Focus on Financial Performance- Provide to the local leadership team accurate, timely and relevant financial data and reports, and key metrics and analysis
- Be accountable for the monthly closing, before closing (landing, accruals etc.) and after closing (monthly performance reports for Sales, P&L, Headcount, SIT...)
- Drive the Monthly Performance Reviews: monitor business performance vs targets (budget, forecasts) and defined KPIs, gaps vs. plan
- Propose corrective actions to mitigate risks
- Lead the reconciliation forum to align Sales Performance Reviews proposals (IBP) between Commercial Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Affaires and ensure alignment with CHC country / Zone ambitions
- Accountable for OPEX management of supporting functions and headcount
- Partner with A2R to understand Balance Sheet balances, provisions and movements. Ensure alignment and that topics are pro-actively shared and resolved
Lead budget & forecasts - Prepare budget and forecasts. Work in close cooperation with Supply Chain team to align on monthly IBP 36-month forecasts.
- Drive the reviews with Zone and Region finance teams, challenge Business assumptions, identify risks and opportunities and ensure strategic alignment between Commercial Business, Industrial Affairs, Supply Chain and Finance
- Challenge Business assumptions and ensure consistency of the forecasts from a finance standpoint
Perform other finance tasks- Accountable for the control environment (assessing risks and performing controls) over their local areas of responsibility and fully aware of internal control requirements ("guardian of the rules"), with the capability to raise concerns to Internal Control
- Share and implement finance best practices and focus on simplification to limit the workload and focus on performance
- Identify and request or perform Master data management in systems
- Support local finance and business teams in case of data inconsistencies and questions in systems and reporting
- Lead ad hoc projects
KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS - Other Finance teams (Zone, Region, IA, BA&C), Business teams (GM, Marketing, Commercial), Supply Chain, Regulatory, HR...
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS- Degree qualified in finance and accounting or a related business discipline and / or a professional accounting qualification with 5-8 years of working experience in FMCH/FMCG
- Fluent in French language - is a must
- Strong rigor and ability to multi-task and to organize, manage and prioritize deadlines
- Display agility skillset to operate in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Collaborative, highly proactive and assertive attitude, commitment to excellence, and ability to interact and communicate appropriately with numerous stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to combine and present complex information in a simple manner
- Very good knowledge of tools & systems (TM1, SAP)
