French Polisher

Role We are looking for a skilled French Polisher to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the high-quality finish and presentation of our hotel interiors, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and heart-of-house spaces are always kept to exceptional standards. Key expectations of this role are * Carry out French polishing, painting, and decorating works across guest rooms, public areas, and heart-of-house areas * Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs * Maintain and repair furniture, woodwork, wall coverings, and paintwork * Support a structured planned preventative maintenance programme * Manage and maintain stock levels of materials such as paints, lacquers, and waxes * Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, efficiently and professionally * Adhere to all health and safety policies, including COSHH regulations * Respond to maintenance requests and support emergency call-outs where required * Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe at all times * Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure seamless operations Profile * Proven experience in French polishing, decorating, or a similar field * Strong eye for detail in delivering high-quality craftsmanship * Good knowledge of materials, tools, and polishing techniques * A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset All our associates have the opportunity to live by our guiding philosophy which captures the essence of our culture RELATIONSHIP HOSPITALITY.
