Sounds great - what's the role in a nutshell?
The main objective is to ensure the provision of efficient and diligent service by following the procedures and instructions assigned to the tasks. Mandatory to create unique experiences for our guests during the service. This position is specially designed to French-speaking departures.
Your passion is:
- Be on time on your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
- Compliance with functions established by the Regional F&B Manager.
- Exact knowledge of the food and drink menu, as well as deep knowledge of the fruits, products, meals and drinks that the Peruvian Amazon offers to create wow moments and unique experiences.
- Knowledge of wines and pairings for recommendation to our guests.
- Serve guests on board during breakfast, lunch and dinner service or other service outside the ship when indicated (whether in a community, at La Casona, excursions, etc.).
- Stay in the dining room according to the needs of the guests.
- Knowledge of service etiquette and protocol, in addition to the order of operation with their assigned areas and tables.
- Be in charge of cleaning and arranging the dining room: setting and assembling (follow duties).
- Responsible for the layout, cleaning and assembly of all meal periods.
- Control of losses and waste in your area. Maintain communication with kitchen.
- Periodic breakage control arranged according to the Food and Beverage Directorate.
- Control your stock of products, as well as their supply of ideal guest service.
- Relieve the employee on duty at staff lunchtime.
- Assume duties behind the bar during business hours, if necessary, arranged in that position.
- Support supervisors and area colleagues during probable contingencies.
What are we looking for?
- Training Certificates in Massage Therapy
- Degree in Hospitality or Food Production
- Knowledge of Food and Beverages and good food handling practices
- 5+ years in similar position
- Fluent in French
- Fairly good English
- Efficiency
- Tidiness
- Team spirit
- Self-control
